This design focuses on building a strong perimeter frame that fully encases your stone while keeping the front and back open and visible. The Basket Frame Weave is a beautiful technique that allows your stone to appear as if it is floating within the design, secure, balanced, and fully showcased from both sides. ⸻ Class Details • Duration: 2 hours • Format: Private livestream session • Replay Access: Included for all students to revisit and practice anytime ⸻ Materials You’ll Need • 1 stone (teardrop, round, square, or even odd-shaped stones work beautifully for this design) • Wires: • 18-gauge round wire • 28-gauge round wire • Variety of beads (used as measurement tools) • 8mm bead (recommended) • 10mm bead (recommended) • 12mm bead (recommended) • If you do not have these sizes, the design is still possible without them, Moonchild will be instructing with copper dead soft round wire. You are welcome to adapt materials to your preference, but this is what will be demonstrated during the session. ⸻ Tools Required • Edge cutters or wire cutters • Flat pliers • Round nose pliers • Bent nose pliers • Optional but very helpful: Nylon jaw pliers, ring clamp, clamp, or clip to hold wires in place while weaving ⸻ Important Notes • Students must have reliable internet access to attend the private livestream session. A link will be provided prior to your scheduled time. • Please arrive promptly. The reserved session time is fixed.
