In this class, you’ll learn to create the stunning Empress design step-by-step, guided at your own pace. This session is perfect for students with basic wire-handling experience, ready to take their skills to the next level. Class Details • Duration: 1–2 hours • Format: Private livestream session via internet • Replay: All students will receive access to a full replay to revisit the techniques anytime Materials You’ll Need For this design, you’ll need: • Cabochon: 1 teardrop cabochon of your choice • Wires: • Base wire: 18-gauge copper dead soft round wire • Weaving wire: 28-gauge copper dead soft round wire • Optional: Half-round wire for part of the bottom (substitute if preferred) • Tools: • Assortment of pliers • Edge cutters or general cutters • Flat pliers • Round nose pliers • Bent nose pliers • Optional but useful: 6-layer bail maker, nylon pliers Moonchild will be instructing using copper dead soft round wire, but you may adjust materials as desired. ✨Important Notes✨ • Please ensure you have internet access for the private livestream session. • Students are encouraged to arrive on time, as the session time is fixed. Late arrivals will be counted toward the reserved time, and sessions will end at the designated time to respect other students’ appointments. • This is a slightly intermediate design, so prior knowledge of basic wire-handling is recommended.
